If you could see what I see...
If I could put it in a photo...
If you find pleasure in the photo...
Know that God and His creation are my inspiration...
I am humbled.

My oldest son and his girlfriend...she was totally unaware of the faces he was making while she was talking to my husband. He is a total goof and he loves this girl to pieces. She must love him too, because when she saw these photos she just laughed.
I don't know where he gets his goofiness.

Twas the night before Christmas...
Where has the time gone? I see the last time I posted a photo was early December. At any rate, here's a little shot of my son's girlfriend and her son checking out our Christmas tree. Nothing better than a photo of a mother and child in my book.

This little guy has come into my life because he is the son of my oldest son's serious girlfriend. He is cute, energetic and happy (very much like my oldest son.) This photo was taken at our Thanksgiving celebration when he was outside playing frisbee. What a character.

Some poses work...and some...well, let's just not try this again.
I spent some time on a mini photo shoot with my daughter, niece and her boyfriend yesterday. I always enjoy taking pics of my daughter and my niece because they are both quite photogenic and fun to shoot. This pose was my daughter's idea. She told her cousin to growl. Well...you can see the result.
I can probably use this photo against them some time in the future...wedding, showing their future kids, etc.

Did they really live happily ever after?
The creepy downstairs main hallway in Preston Castle provided wonderful natural light.

Once Upon a Time...
There were so many wonderful places to shoot at Preston Castle. Every time I turned around there was another beautiful/handsome model posing around in some unbelievable location. I especially like this photo because it almost looks like a fairy tale. Naomi was not only a fabulous model, but she is also a clothing designer.

Yet another pic of the fabu photoshoot I attended on Saturday at Preston Castle. The windows in this place were huge and covered in dirt, which made all the light that entered in nicely diffused. This photo was taken in the old infirmary. I heard that a couple of the "wayward boys" had died there and there are a few stories of creepy happenings in this room. I don't think I'd want to spend the night here.

Dangerous woman alert!
This is another shot from the Preston Castle photo workshop. Is this fun, or what? This photo was taken in the basement of Preston Castle. You can see the the castle is in terrible disrepair, which makes this a great place for photography. The window light was just amazing...even in the basement.

Yesterday I attended another portrait workshop. This time it was held at Preston Castle in Ione. Preston Castle was a reformatory for wayward boys from 1894 until the 1960's when it was abandoned by the state of California. It is now in the process of being restored.
These three models are pin-up models and they were great fun to work with.
