I saw this beauty at Lake Tahoe last weekend when I was checking out the salmon. So, I snapped off a few quick photos bracketed at +/- 2 and ran it through photomatix. I think HDR does a good job on cars and interior shots. Landscapes (like the one I did yesterday), aren't always as popular. Not arguing for or against HDR, just pointing out that it sometimes causes people to get a little emotional. I like it sometimes and sometimes I think it's overdone. This one, I think, works with HDR.

I saw this unique cloud the other night when I was in Tahoe and chased it around a bit until I found a place to photograph it. I thought there would probably be quite a few photographers out trying to catch this cloud over Lake Tahoe (flickr has quite a few posted) and I wanted to try something a little different. I have a couple of other photos of this cloud in a few different locations, but I liked this one best. This spot is a children's fishing hole stocked with trout. You can see one little guy's pole on the left. He told me that he didn't like to eat the fish because fish had "goo" inside them. He's got a point. Heh.

Three bracketed shots with +/-2 and combined with Photomatix.
